£20m funding for our Centre to support autism research

The Simons Foundation has pledged £20 million for pioneering studies into the biological mechanisms that underpin changes in brain development associated with autism. The Simons Initiative for the Developing Brain will be based at the Patrick Wild Centre. 

Grant success for our lab - Brain and Behaviour Foundation Young Investigator (NARSAD)

This program is intended to facilitate innovative research opportunities and supports basic science, as well as translational and/or clinical investigators. Our lab secured 2-year support to develop novel mouse models of ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorders) using targeted genome editing with CRISPR, in collaboration with Cathy Abbot's lab at IGMM.
